Tim Burton to Helm Killers’ Music Video

The Killers, the hot band from Las Vegas, has lured Tim Burton to direct his first music video for the new song, Bones, from the forthcoming album SAMS TOWN, IGN Music reports.

The bands L.A. concert in August has been filmed and Burton is working with animators in London. The band confirmed that the video would incorporate many of Burton's trademark styles, including models, mini-sets based on bygone Vegas landmarks and skeletons.

Moving Picture Co. is providing post work for the video.

Apple Introduces New iPod; Will Sell Disney Features Over Internet

Apple announced the launch of the new iPod and ceo Steve Jobs revealed that full-length features from The Walt Disney Co. would soon be sold over the Internet, reports BLOOMBERG. New Disney releases would cost $14.99; catalog titles would be offered for $9.99.

The new iPod is available in a 30GB model at the new low price of $249 and an 80GB model, which holds up to 20,000 songs or 100 hours of video, for $349. Time Warner Inc.'s AOL unit and Web retailer Amazon.com Inc. previously announced deals with several studios to sell or rent features.

Bill Plympton Music Video on MTV

A new music video, with animation by Bill Plympton, will be premiering on MTV on Monday, Nov. 21, 2005. The video is for a song called "Heard 'Em Say" by Kanye West, and should air during TRL on MTV on Monday afternoon. Plymptons third music video, and perhaps the most high profile one he's worked on, depicts Kanye as a mythical urban cabdriver.
