A self-taught filmmaker and animator, with a degree in pharmacy that helped pay the bills. I live in Edmore, Michigan (a few miles from the homestead of Winsor McCay's parents), and serve as Secretary of ASIFA Central. As an educator, I have created and coordinated arts and film production courses and curricula at area community colleges, but recently retired my spatula to focus on films, animation, and "hikes and bikes.'
