hmmm... I made the site using flash mx (flash 6), the latest flash plugin is flash mx 2004 (flash 7)... are you sure you have at least the flash 6 plugin installed? I don't think it could be a low bandwith problem, the intro page is only 129 kb.
Peter, it showed up fine on my machine. Interesting site with some nice imagery. I tried to get a good look at some of the screenshots, but other than the main page I couldn't see bigger versions of any of the six images. Is that right?
I like the way you share the journey with the visitors though - very nice and gives a look at what all of us are trying to accomplish.

Ooops! I will have to place a more obvious sign there... the Screenshots booklet recreates a small magazine, place your mouse pointer over the lower-right corner and you'll see a small page bent, pick the corner and drag the page towards the left as you would do in a real booklet. There are 8 pages.
I'm placing the instructions right now. Will post again when ready.
Instructions for the Screenshots booklet ready.
hehe - I feel pretty stupid after seeing that. It's a cool feature and, once I figured it out, I really liked it.
I love your artwork and I think you've got something great in the works.
Nice job Peter.
Hey, you weren't the only one lost there :) as they say: Obvious things go better when said, specially in flash websites...
I would recommend a combo html/flash website. For a couple of reasons. I started out with a totally Flash website, I have a lot more traffic now with a combo type site.
Search engines have a hard time spidering a strictly Flash site, and also if anyone comes to your site that doesn't have the plugin, at least something shows up without having to go the splash page route...I for one hate splash pages.
Pat
you're absolutely right, my narrowband version of the site is waiting in line after I finish the spanish version of the site... hopefully will have it done in 3 or 4 weeks.
I really liked your site and I loved the scratchy /jumpiness you''ve added, even though it could be a little creepy.
