Lil Bush

Wow!

Talk about raw....just watched the first episode of LIL BUSH.

Part of me says- Bush and crew deserves everything he got in the show (my opinion).

The part that affected me the most was the storyline about the Iraqi kid who was brought back from the Iraq as a Father's Day present. Everyone has suffered enough and the plight of everyday Iraqis is something we can't even begin to understand.

It seems to be produced in Bulgaria- there you go an animated series about an American President produced with Flash in Bulgaria.

I taped the first episode to rewatch.....

A very strong political statement....

Thanks.

Guess I am out of the loop, never heard of it.

Probably unneccesary; it's on Comedy Central, which has never aired a show it doesn't re-air endlessly...:D

Strong in what sense?

'Lil Snoozer!

...Sorry, I fell asleep before I could get the riveting plot!

Everyone has a right to have an opinion (at least in the U.S.) one way or the other about Iraq. No worries there. To each their own!

But somehow I doubt I'll be taking the lead from a cartoon on Comedy Central! Me thinks the show won't last horribly long...I hope!;)

Oh well!

Except for the only three series it's ever produced that were actually funny: Upright Citizens Brigade, Strangers with Candy, and Wanderlust. They never show any of those anymore.

Edit: That's My Bush was also funny. They should pick that series up again instead of this new thing.

Well, granted, I've only travelled to a handful of countries outside of the US, but on the basis of my limited experience, I can say at least that, wherever I've gone, people have in fact been capable of formulating opinions within the functioning frontal lobes of their brain. So maybe that's one quality that the United States doesn't have a monopoly on. Just maybe.

I think the Lil Bush cartoon would be a lot better if it had jokes in it, but that's just me.

10-4 good buddy!

Lots of people from lots of different nations can form lots of opinions!

However, some people in some nations do not have the freedom to express some opinions...safely!;)

KnowwhatImean, Vern?

All opinions worth expressing are inherently and immediately unsafe.

Hee-hee!

Very true!;)

A Strong Statement

My opinion here- but when you present characters or materials in a certain light as they do on Lil Bush then the creators are making a strong statement.

If you saw the show you would know what I mean!

Over the past several years I have travelled abroad quite a bit...and most folks I talk to can't stand the current aministration- especially our president. In fact no one I know in Europe has ever voiced an favorable opinion about our current leaders.

There have been times when I have felt ashamed that he is our president....because there is no logical excuse for the actions he has taken. Our constitution has been shredded. (my opinion)

I think as harsh as Lil Bush is... it does present a picture of how we are viewed by others.

Sad but true....

Thanks.

It seems that I'm less concerned...

as to how we're viewed in Europe. Madcap, I know.

If Comedy Central wants to run a poorly written and animated slam-fest of the Prez on their network, that's their biz. I've seen enough to know that I can change the channel...I like humor.

Whoops, gotta run...the shredders jammed!;)

Cheers,
