Chairman's Animation Showcase

Hi,

I've been contributing regularly over at the "daily sketch" forum...and have decided to start a thread over here too.

I just finished a screen capture animation of a drawing I did. The capture software was set to capture every 3 seconds (3000 ms) at a frame rate of 20 fps.

I made a video with the whole capture...adding sound and titles etc. It's 3:50 long.

You can see it here

And here's a look at the final pic from the capture:

Hope you enjoy it.

:)

I took at stab at creating my own character in Maya and then rigging it.

I made a video with this character and called Puppet Master.

Check it out over at ToonTube:

Please let me know what you think either here or over there.

Thanks!

Hi Chairman!

I like the new character, very cool concept!

I can't wait to learn how to work with 3D software, only one more semester.

Keep up the good work,

Sincerely,

Ralph Sutter

Hi all,

Just uploaded another animation to toontube.

The images and animation were created in Maya and based on a Foundation book exercise.

I wrote a script, narrated it and added efx and music to those images and animation.

Here's a still from the vid.

Check it out here:

Hey Chairman,
My name is Wes Abrams. I am the creator of ToonTube. I really enjoy your stuff. I hope you keep submitting stuff over there. Also your link that you just posted isn't working. I just thought I would let you know that. Since it was the Animation of the Day that link only works for that day. So if anyone would like to see Chairmans last animation on ToonTube you can see it here http://toontube.toonlifeonline.com/item/T1TVL78FWB6N5JBR
Anyway thanks again for posting over there and I hope to see more of your stuff soon.

I made another very short video based on a Foundation book tutorial.

Every beginning animators starting point: the dreaded "bouncing ball" test...made a bit more challenging by particle collisions sparks (which were composited in using Shake).

I added titles and music cause I can't help myself...:o...and I wanted to make it seem a bit more interesting.

I really like doing these tutorials because they throw a lot at you...modeling, rigging, dynamics etc.

Appreciate you taking a look!
