That is amazing! In real time it sounds like the hawk hits that wall, but in slo-mo she barely grazes it. Flying through that tube was crazy too! I wish I had this footage on my last project when I was animating flying creatures. Not quite the same, but it's always good to study similar animals.

That is very cool but you know that went through a lot of testing before they published this clip. I am sure that bird developed quite a headache in the early stages of testing. Maybe even got caught in that tunnel a few times.

I doubt they would use that approach. Rather they would start with a much larger hole and reduce the size gradually. But no doubt it would have needed a few takes.

Aaaaaw! C'mon! That last one looks like they just shoved him through the tube! Haha!
Seriously though, that is a real testament to how good the Hawk can see to navigate his way through his natural habitat.
