Festival, postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, looks forward to once again bringing together a global audience to celebrate animation.
The 30th World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb 2020, that was scheduled to place on June 8-13 has been postponed due to the presence of the COVID-19 virus and the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Zagreb. The event was rescheduled to September 28 – October 3.
Since its origins in 1972 the festival has focused on creative animation in all its forms, from drawings, to stop motion, CGI, to most experimental cross-media explorations. The event attracts an international audience to its competitions, retrospectives, presentations, exhibitions, pitching forums, lectures, awards, panoramas, workshops.
