Munich International Short Film Festival takes place in 2007 directly prior to the "big" Filmfest Munich. From Thursday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 20, 2007, the festival showcases the world's best contemporary short films each night at the Mathaeser.
Munich International, taking place in 2007 for the second time, screens all films in its international competition with English dialogue or English subtitles. Each film will be screened twice and all films are Bavarian premieres. There are also additional screenings, such as the winning films of the German Short Film Award. Munich International is hosted by the Munich Filmwerkstatt and CommClub Munich in cooperation with the Mathaeser. It is presented by Abendzeitung Munich and supported by Interkep, Caninenberg+Schouten and P+S Technik among others.
