The 13th Annual Rendez-Vous

Begins: September 3, 2007

The 13th annual Rendez-Vous organized by TV France International will be held in Biarritz for the first time this year. The new venue for the Rendez-Vous, Le Bellevue Conference Center, will enable TV France International to double space for the exhibitors. Moreover, by choosing Biarritz, TV France International can continue to provide the same high-standards and friendly and warm atmosphere, in addition to keeping-up with marketplace growth. The number of participants increases continuously; more than 200 buyers and 54 French distributors and producers attended the event in 2006.

The 4th Annual Atlanta Underground Film Festival (AUFF) will showcase every genre of independent film from across the world during this celebration of the independent artist. The IndyFilm Co-Op and CENEMA present the B Movie Celebration. This showcase of low budget genre filmmaking will screen retrospectives from the 1930s and 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, Contemporary, Jim Wynorski and Lloyd Kaufman. MediaBridge Youth Film Festival 2007

MediaBridge Youth Fest is a two-day film festival curated by 14 youth ambassadors from China, Palestine, the U.K., Serbia, Slovenia, India, Mexico and Puerto Rico and 11 Illinois teens. The international short films and feature were selected by MediaBridge participants from a pool of nearly 200 films through a process of dynamic small-group debates.

The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) is launching the LATV Festival to run concurrently with the highly successful NATPE TV Producers' Boot Camp, now in its fifth year.

The events will run from July 25 through 27 at various locations in Los Angeles including the House of Blues in West Hollywood and The Highlands Hollywood at the Hollywood and Highland complex. Brainwash Movie Festival 2007

The Brainwash Movie Festival is showing short and feature movies for the first time. Brainwash will show a variety of genres. The original Drive-In, Bike-In, Walk-In movie festival, Brainwash will be showing some of the best of more than 500 movies in the Brainwash catalog from shows over the past 12 years. Many of the Brainwash selections chosen for their daring and uncompromising style will never be seen on television or other more restrictive venues. REDCAT International Children's Film Festival 2007

REDCAT International Children's Film Festival features more than 45 films from 15 countries. The program includes films for ages 2 and up from all over the world, while still maintaining the daring and expansive aesthetic of REDCAT. This year the event features Pixar Shorts, including some of Pixar's earliest iconic shorts as well as Pixar's Academy Award-winning shorts. Visual Music Marathon 2007

Northeastern University is hosting the 2007 Visual Music Marathon, to be held as part of the Boston Cyberarts Festival. The marathon will include screenings of new and historic works that reflect the theme of the event and a live video component. Approximately 30 minutes of programming will be selected for national cablecast on the Harmony Channel, available to subscribers of digital cable on the Comcast and Cox networks.
