New state-of-the-art performance capture studio slated to be fully operational by November 2021.
Vancouver-based performance capture studio, Beyond Performance Capture Studios (Beyond Vancouver) and Montreal-based creative agency Reservoir Creative have announced a new strategic partnership, Beyond Performance Capture Montréal (Beyond Montréal). The partnership will result in a new state-of-the-art performance capture studio in Montreal, slated to be fully operational by November 2021. Beyond Montréal’s footprint will be almost 15,000 square feet with a clear height of 22 feet and will contain a 4,000 square foot stage.

Beyond Montréal will be equipped with over 60 of Vicon’s latest Vantage 16 cameras, multiple Ultra HD video cameras, the latest Faceware facial capture helmets and in engine real-time solving, projection of the captured material and as of this fall, will offer its body and facial capture, photogrammetry / 4D Scanning and VO audio recording services. Having garnered much industry interest, the studio’s schedule is almost fully booked into Q1 2022. Its downtown location makes it well positioned to service the local and global market.
