THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO star Michael Nyqvist has been cast as the villain in Brad Bird's MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4, reports The Hollywood Reporter. He joins Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Vladimir Mashkov.
J.J. Abrams, Cruise and Paula Wagner are the producers with Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum penning the script.
Paramount hopes to have the film in theaters in December 2011.
