Jason Ruiz has emerged from Fox's Inkubation program with a one-year agreement to develop a new animated series titled MURDER POLICE, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The 26 year old started creating web animation when he was 12.
The show Ruiz is developing with David Goodman (FAMILY GUY, FUTURAMA) follows bumbling homicide detectives. It's described as SCOOBY-DOO crossed with THE FIRST 48.
Ruiz previously worked with Goodman on the rejected animated pilot FATHERS & SONS.
