Cartoon Network honors U.S. Election Day, Nov. 2, 2004, with a special 24-times-repeated telecast of HARVEY BIRDMAN: ATTORNEY AT LAW. A brand new original episode entitled, "Guitar Control," will air 24 times from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.
When Quick Draw McGraw pulls out his trusty six-string in an attempt to put the El Kabong kibosh on the Dalton Gang, he gets hauled off to jail. So he turns to noted constitutional law expert Harvey Birdman to defend his right to keep and bear guitars. Meanwhile, Harvey's boss, Phil Ken Sebben, takes $12 billion from the powerful guitar lobby to fund his presidential campaign. Not that that would make him beholden to them. Peanut and Baba Looey also get into trouble when they get their hands on Quick Draw's private guitar arsenal.
Produced at Turner Studios in Atlanta, Michael Ouweleen and Erik Richter are creators/writers/exec producers while Khaki Jones is executive in charge of production. HARVEY BIRDMAN: ATTORNEY AT LAW stars Gary Cole as Harvey, Stephen Colbert as Reducto/Phil Ken Sebben, John Michael Higgins as Mentok, Michael McKean as Spyro, Peter MacNicol as X the Eliminator and Thomas Allen as Peanut.
