TAC.tv Animation Contest Part Two

TAC.tv Animation Contest Part TwoDeadline: January 29, 2009

TAC.tv and Super U team up once again to find the best animated short films. They're looking for films featuring animated animals. All forms of animation accepted, from traditional techniques like hand-drawing to cutting-edge digital methods.

The winning animated film will get $2,500, be featured on TAC.tv and have the chance for broadcast on Super Channel. The highest rated films in this contest will be judged by:

-- Alexis Cadieux, Salambo Productions, Writer of the humorous clips for the popular TAC.tv website.-- Marv Newland, International Rocketship, award-winning animator who started his career with the short BAMBI MEETS GODZILLA (1969).-- Bryce Hallett, Frog Feet Productions, Canadian independent animator and director of series, music videos and commercials.

Congratulations to Elohim Sanchez for taking home first prize on December 3, 2008 for his film, L'INTERPRETATION DES REVES OU LES AVENTURES DU ROBOT BLEU.

An elite jury, including TAC.tv/Tetes a Claques creator Michel Beaudet will be awarding a prize for the best of the best at the end of August 2009. The contest opens at 12:05 am PST December 18, 2008. Upload your film until 5 a.m. PST January 29, 2009. Your friends and fans can vote on all entries until 5 a.m. PST February 9, 2009. The winner will be announced on March 3, 2009.

You may submit as many animated films as you like to this contest, however, you may not submit the same film(s) you submitted to the previous TAC.tv Animation Contest.
