Terminator Will Be Back As Game

TERMINATOR rights holder The Halcyon Co. has formed a game unit and has made an adaptation of its forthcoming TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE FUTURE BEGINS film its top priority, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The company plans to release the game on all formats in conjunction with the film's release in summer 2009.

Halcyon co-CEOs Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson will serve as co-chairmen of the gaming arm. Former Disney and Bellrock Media exec Peter Levin will serve as CEO. Cos Lazouras, who previously worked at Vin Diesel's game company Tigon Studios, will serve as VP Production.

Additionally, Halcyon, which acquired the rights to all of Philip K. Dick's previously un-adapted work earlier in the year, plans to turn the sci-fi author's novels into games with the first title planned for 2010. The company also plans to develop original IPs as well.
