‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ First Look Posters Released

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as Marvel’s lethal protector in Columbia Pictures’ action thriller sequel; the highly anticipated and previously delayed movie is pushed once again, coming exclusively to theaters October 15.

Columbia Pictures has just dropped two first look posters for the highly anticipated Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and alas they come to our browsers with another delayed release date: October 15. Earlier this month, AWN shared a first look trailer sans the expected September release date promising only a vague “exclusively in movie theaters this fall,” leaving fans disappointed and speculating on just when the film would actually hit theaters.

But we now have a date for Tom Hardy’s return to reprise his role as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters. Marvel fans – your patience will again be rewarded when the action thriller premieres exclusively in movie theaters on October 15.

Venom, released in 2018, grossed over $856 million worldwide and officially launched Sony Pictures’ own Universe of Marvel Characters. The sequel, also based on the Marvel comics, is directed by Andy Serkis with a story by Hardy and Kelly Marcel and screenplay by Marcel. The film is produced by Marcel; Hardy; Hutch Parker; Avi Arad; Matt Tolmach; and Amy Pascal. Barry Waldman, Jonathan Cavendish, and Ruben Fleischer serve as executive producers. The movie stars Hardy; Michelle Williams; Naomie Harris; Reid Scott; Stephen Graham; and Woody Harrelson.

The visual effects are being produced by DNEG, Framestore, and Image Engine.
