"It's a story of a father and daughter coming together in a place that doesn't quite feel safe for them. […] We really get into Nivellen, who is played by the incomparable Kristofer Hivju. We get to explore his character and his backstory with Geralt as well," Hissrich explains. "It's about the secrets that we keep from each other, and the monsters that we are inside sometimes."
For the new season, Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton) will join the popular action fantasy series as Nenneke; Cassie Clare (What Happened to Monday) as Philippa Eilhart; Liz Carr (The OA, Silent Witness) as Fenn; Graham McTavish (Outlander, Preacher) as Dijkstra; Kevin Doyle (Downton Abbey) as Ba’lian; Simon Callow (A Room with a View, Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Codringher; and Chris Fulton (Outlaw King) as Rience.
