The delegation of 15 producers from Animation UK is attending Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2017 as a collective group for the first time, to fly the flag for British animation with support from the UK Department for International Trade.
William Joyce, whose film ‘The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore’ won the Oscar for Best Animated Short in 2012, will direct the film, which is recently-formed Cirrina Studios’ first animated feature and first collaboration with French production comphany Dwarf Animation Studio.
