London-based boutique animation studio Not To Scale have signed London-based directing duo "Vincent" for worldwide commercials and music video representation. The duo who formed Vincent in 2007, John Hill and Rheea Aranha, made a very busy start with projects including last year's BBC2 Christmas campaign and BBC2's iconic "Thursdays are Funny."

North American Studios Win Big At Promax Awards

Design studios like bpg and Cuppa Coffee Studios were multiple award winners at this weekend's Broadcast Design Association/Promax Awards in New York.

The BDA Awards are regarded as the highest accolade for creative professionals in the broadcast design industry.

Cuppa Coffee has won more than 50 times over the past 10 years, including two Golds this year for Art Direction & Design: Topical Campaign for the Spike Scream Awards and the Art Direction & Design: Special Events Promo for the ESPN ESPY Awards.

Autodesk Debuts Korean Version Of 3ds Max Software

Autodesk today began shipping a Korean version of Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 and Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 software. To meet the needs of a growing 3-D community in Korea, this version offers a translated user interface, as well as Korean product documentation and training materials. 3ds Max 2009 and 3ds Max Design 2009 software are also available in French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and English.

Video game developer and publisher Data Design Interactive has opened a U.S. office in Sarasota, Florida.

The purpose of opening this new studio is to help provide the correct creative atmosphere required to work effectively on today's projects. S4 Studios (www.s4studios.com) has designed the new graphic Re-Branding campaign for NBC Universal's Universal HD cable network. Over 100 individual promos and IDs were created over nine months of design and production for the 24/7 HD Net, which made its debut in early 2006.

NBC Universal Senior VP of Emerging Networks Dan Harrison and Director of On-Air Promotions Sarah Pierce hired S4 to create a unique identity for its all-new lineup of original HD programming.
