The deadline for entry into SIGGRAPH 2007 FJORG! (pronounced FORGE), a new international computer graphics animation competition sponsored by DreamWorks Animation, is fast approaching. The competition will be held at SIGGRAPH 2007, the 34th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques held Aug. 5-9, 2007, at the San Diego Convention Center.

Woodstock Museum is hosting its 8th film/video festival. This year's theme is "Inspiration." The festival screens completed features, documentaries and shorts, as well as works in progress. All genres including animation and digital media; everything must be in English (subtitles okay). The early deadline is May 31 with the regular deadline on June 30, and the late deadline on July 31, 2007.
