Homage to Broadway's "Caroline, or Change"

Recently saw "Caroline, or Change" in L.A., a musical which features anthropomorphic appliances (played by actors). I couldn't help think of those old cartoons in which everything talked and sang, so here's
a breif cartoon I did just for fun, set to clips of Scene One of from the CD.

It might not make much much sense for those not familiar with the show (I also edited the scene down to its most animatable elements) but I think its still kinda cute.

Basically, the show is about social change in the 60's (The cartoon, however, is mostly about singing appliances...). In this scene Caroline is doing laundry in a hot basement - the washer represents "coolness" and serenity, and the dryer represents "suffering heat". And the radio...the radio represents The Supremes...

This is basically just an excercise, but any comments are appriciated :)

Thanks,
Brent
