The Art Institute of California - San Francisco will highlight a new generation of aspiring designers involved in animation, fashion, interactive media design and videogame art at its Winter Portfolio Show. Bay Area employers, design companies and members of the public are invited to attend the event at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in San Francisco. Nearly 30 students graduating this quarter at either the Associate of Science of Bachelor of Science levels will participate.
Winter quarter graduates from the school's Media Arts & Animation program will show demo reels and concept artwork for the animation field. Interactive Media Design students will showcase their web designs and other multimedia projects, while students graduating from the school's Game Art & Design program also will show portfolio work of game-related projects.
The Portfolio Show will include light refreshments and a chance to visit personally with graduates looking for employment. The event will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
