M.J. Lallo is hosting an Intermediate Animation VO class to help actors polish their characters and add new characters as well as deepen their in-character improv skills. Guest teachers will include Bob Bergen, the voice of Porky Pig and tons of other credits, and Ilko Drodroski, voice over agent for The Tisherman Agency. Lallo will teach the first, second and fifth class. Classes will cover character development, reading copy for CD Rom, cartoons, Website animation, games, etc. Attendees will learn how to interpret and read all types of copy -- singles, duos and groups. Learn the essential techniques of breathing, physicalisation, voice stretching, voice placement and improvising in character as well as singing in character voices. Students should bring a 90-minute tape.
The cost is $385 if pre-registered by Sept. 8 or two payments in two installments: $210 by Sept 8 and $210 due Sept 29. The workshop will take place Wednesdays from 7:00
