Twentieth Century Fox & ASIFA-Hollywood are hosting a special screening of THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. The event will take place at the DGA Theatre 1, 7920 Sunset Blvd. A pre-screening reception will start at 6:30 pm, with the screening following at 7:30 pm. A post-screening Q&A and panel will include James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Scully and director David Silverman.
Starring in THE SIMPSONS MOVIE are series regulars Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Pamela Hayden, and Tress MacNeille. Albert Brooks also stars. Producers are THE SIMPSONS series exec producer James L. Brooks, creator Matt Groening, current showrunner Al Jean, as well as Mike Scully and Richard Sakai, who has been with the series since its inception. The script is written by Brooks, Groening, Jean, Ian Maxtone-Graham, George Meyer, David Mirkin, Mike Reiss, Scully, Matt Selman, John Swartzwelder, and Jon Vitti -- all series veterans. Director Silverman is the series' supervising animation director.
