Digital Domain and PRG Announce Co-Branded Partnership

The entertainment leaders are teaming up to provide an all-in-one solution for high-end visual effects, holograms, virtual production, and content creation services.

Leading VFX studio Digital Domain has teamed up with PRG (Production Resource Group), an entertainment and live event solutions leader, to provide an all-in-one solution for high-end visual effects, holograms, virtual production, and content creation services. The co-branded partnership will offer end-to-end service covering ideation to execution, all under one roof.

Digital Domain president and COO Lala Gavgavian commented, “Our co-branding partnership has a clear objective: to retain and expand market share, foster innovative trends, and explore pioneering technologies that redefine the art of storytelling.”

"Through our partnership with Digital Domain, virtual production redefines creative boundaries,” noted PRG president, entertainment Todd Hoddick. “It empowers brands in cost-conscious markets and studios catering to diverse consumer preferences."

Jeroen Hallaert, vice president production services at PRG, added, "This innovation streamlines workflows, reshaping collaboration dynamics and enabling real-time creative refinement, from 'prep' to 'post'."

The partnership allows clients to shape their vision from inception while providing access to Digital Domain and PRG’s talent pool. PRG's enhanced environments and simulcam services let creatives plan shots and immerse themselves in the virtual world without the need to go on location.

Digital Domain’s portfolio of VFX work includes collaborations with Disney/Marvel; Warner Bros./Discovery; Sony Pictures; Universal; Netflix; HBO; and Amazon Studios. Meanwhile, PRG has provided technological and infrastructural support to realize scenes from productions like Ahsoka; Joker; The Mandalorian; and Law & Order
