John Carpenter has been set to direct FANGLAND for Sriram Das and Blumhouse Productions, reports ComingSoon.net. Based on John Marks' 2008 novel, the story puts a modern twist on the DRACULA tale. Evangeline Harker is a female TV news reporter who goes to Transylvania who sends back strange emails. Soon a mysterious man named Torgu arrives at their office. Hilary Swank is set to play Harker.
