‘Little Ani’ May Join Disney+ ‘Kenobi’ Series

Rumor has it Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as the infamous Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Star Wars series, though the Force is cloudy with this one

Look who has the high ground now! Rumor has it Hayden Christensen will appear regularly in the new Disney+ Kenobi series as the infamous sand-hater Anakin Skywalker. The news was supposedly meant to be announced during the 2020 Star Wars Celebration, which has been pushed to 2022 due to COVID-19.

While it would be impossible for Anakin to make appearances post his Darth Vader-isation in Revenge of the Sith, he could be introduced through flashbacks. We won’t find out for some time, as the Kenobi release date has not yet been announced; production is set to begin in early 2021.

While the series has previously been delayed due to writing conflicts, we have a good feeling about this news. It would be great to say with certainty that this rumor is true, but only the Sith deal in absolutes.
