Tom Holland reportedly in talks to extend his Marvel Studios contract as the lovable Peter Parker for six more films.
Our Spidey sense are tingling! They say Tom Holland, MCU’s cinematic Peter Parker, is here to stay for a long, long time. The latest news from the rumor mill is that Holland is in talks to appear in six more MCU films: three stand-alone films not including Spider-Man 3, and three films outside the Spider-Man franchise. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, many well-known favorites, regrettably, are gone, and Avengers will need a new yet familiar face to root for. Who better than Mr. ‘I don’t feel so good’ himself? The films would follow Peter Parker’s transition from High School, to college, and off into adulthood. They would represent the most complete chronicling of Spider-Man’s life in all of cinematic history.
While we would love to have our friendly neighborhood Spider-Boy stick around, we will have to wait and see how Phase 4 unfolds, beginning with Black Widow on November 6, 2020. Regardless of any new contractual agreements, we’ll for sure be seeing Spidey in Spider-Man 3 come November 2021, so stay tuned.
