Sylvester Stallone has told EW that Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme have signed onto THE EXPENDABLES 2. The series star also says he is still interested in having Nicolas Cage and John Travolta joining the film as well. The cast already includes Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Simon West (CON AIR) is taking the directing chair from Stallone for part two. David Agosto and Ken Kaufman penned the script.
Filming will start in Bulgaria at the end of September. Lionsgate plans to release the film next August.
