Warner Bros. has hired Drew Pearce, the creator of the superhero spoof comedy TV series NO HEROICS, to write SHERLOCK HOLMES 3, reports Heat Vision. Pearce is currently writing IRON MAN 3. Director Guy Ritchie and stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are expected to return for the third HOLMES outing. The second film, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS, opens in theaters on Dec. 16.
