Warner Bros. is in talks to acquire HARKER, writers Lee Shipman & Brian McGreevy's reworking of DRACULA, reports Deadline.com. Jaume Collet-Serra (UNKNOWN) is set to direct. Appian Way partners Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, along with Mad Hatter Ent.'s Michael Connolly, will produce.
The story recasts Jonathan Harker as a Scotland Yard detective who is hunting down Dracula. The studios hope to transform HARKER into a supernatural Sherlock Holmes franchise.
