Beautiful work in 3D max. Great storyboarding as well. Great music too!

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers!

C'est Fantastique;)

I could ask for months how in the hell you did this, but I won't try. I'll learn 3d soon enough. Beautiful film!

How long did this take to create?

L8r,

Very nice work bArt. Very slick and well produced. I loved the ghosty FX on the women. It was just a bit dark for my taste. Esspecially in the begining, it was hard to tell what was going on. Nice, strange little story too.

Bravo

The Good Lord blessed with my keen eyes, so I thought the colorization was both appropriate and visible; for many, though, it could be a gamma sort of thing version of too dark...

As far as the film? Wooo! Easy to follow, even as esoteric as it was, there is NO better soundtrack you could've used, and the animation was very smooth and tastefully and beautifully done. Everything aesthetically pleasing was there in enjoyable amounts, and the mistakes you could've made avoiding coming to life because your usage of just about every characteristic capable of that in the movie is in moderation.

Overall the shining achievement, aside from the great-especially-because-its-non-robotic movement of the characters, is the direction/editing/storyboard comment mentioned above. The timing was right on par for me and the pacing of how the story moved along was just right with convenient amounts of contrast. The (relatively) slow start was good suspense for the scurrying death-kiss story.

Sincerely,
Vinchenzo

P.S. The frog was scary-real, what a great effect...

Thanks for your nice comments !

I'm glad you like Le Prince Bleu...

See you soon

wow-wee-wow

I guess I missed this thread first time around, but that is one of the coolest animations. The aesthetic was awesome and the music really completes the experience. Even my brother liked it... he is extremely hard to please! Glad I got to see it, thanks!
