I am near my deadline now, and for my animation i recorded two voiceovers. Now, I dont know which one is better- I know that they are both not quite what i hoped for, but which one sounds better to you? I'm hoping that with the opinion of the public, I'll be a little closer to getting an idea of which one to present to the public. So if you have time, could you please check out:

its the two animations posted there (both quicktime)
thanks in advance!

hello manimalle,
my vote goes for the voice in version 1, only because I think it has a more sincere quality about it. version 2 spoke well, but for some reason didn't seem as caring towards the child as version 1... hope this helps!

Hi there,
I've had a chance to see both of them. You're right...it's a tough decision, they're both very good voice actors.
Well, I felt that Version 1 had a little more emotion in her voice. It seemed a little more personal, and I felt more for the little boy in the film. The second one, did have a more foreign voice, and a little more mature...where the first voice was younger.
I don't know the age that you want the voice to be, but I do know, that if you want your audience to feel more sympathy towards the little boy, I personally felt that the first voice actor, in version 1, got that out of me, even though she was younger, and less foreign sounding. Less American or Canadian.
I hope this helps
Adam
yeah, I'd go with version 1 for the reasons already outlined.
