Hi! My name is Anne Manz. I am an Independant Casting Director/Manager. I represent over 40 of the highest paid actors, dancers, and singers in the industry. The reason why I'm posting this today is because I found out that you were interest in getting jobs dealing with Acting, Singing, or Dancing. If I'm lucky, all three! What makes me such a good manager is the fact that I'm also a Casting Director. I book jobs for THOUSANDS of other clients. Now that I am a manager, whenever a job becomes available, I look at MY clients BEFORE I search for outside talent. E-mail me back if you are interested. Please put "interested" in the subject because I have so many people e-mailing me, I don't want to overlook yours. Thanks!
Anne Heyman Manz
Too bad you don't look at the name of the forums before you post in THEM.
Try www.galactichunter.com That's a Star Wars Action Figure collecting site. I think they wanna be actors there, too.
Or try www.xbox.com. They're looking for acting jobs.
www.spammersunited.com is a good actor networking site.. so is www.thisisananimationforumsopleaseleave.com.
LOL,agree~
That post REEKS of professionalism... SIGNED ME UP! lol
I think the term you're looking for is agent, not manager.
Ah, my life-long ambition to become a singing, dancing animator! 30 feet of animation per week and a little tap dance!
well i'm interested. i don't know about you guys, but any casting director/manager who represents over 40 of the HIGHEST paid actors (that's all of them) that is looking on animation forums for new talent, well, the acting business must be in dire straights...
You'd have thought that if he represented that many HIGHLY paid actors (no actresses, sexually bias) then he'd at least be able to afford a personal assistant to scout a few forums.
He should give up his job as an acting director and become a comedian.

For a reason; it's one of the most highly polluted with things no one could ever take seriously. :D
You guys are awesome! I love the current trend of pouncing on these losers who post ridiculous threads!

well it's gotta be done.
hey, isn't that what the internet's for? (along side watching cartoons, being attacked by pop ups and opening up your computer to viruses)

hi all
I swing by from time to time....but I have never seen a post like this. Do people ACTUALLY and seriously post stuff like this on a regualr basis? How embarrasing, lol.
Stick around. Sometimes it's thrice a week.
Oh my GAWD! I'm gonna be famous!! This is IT, this is the big one.
If that publisher's clearinghouse sweepstake comes in the mail, I'll be able to afford the trip to WHEREVER SHE IS LOCATED, which doesn't happen to be mentioned either.
You know, at first, I thought that you guys on the forum were being a little too quick to jump the gun, at least in the sarcasm dept. But after reading the post again, I realized how ridiculous it was.
I'm sure that whoever posted it was an ambitious agent, looking to grow, but of course, as everyone knows, if you really are so big, that you represent 40 of the highest paid talents in the world, no, you wouldn't be posting in "the animation cafe". You'd be posting in American Idol.
It's a dead giveaway that you're not what you're saying you are. And a little piece of advice, there's nothing wrong with starting small. Sure, sometimes the illusion of grandeur can be an effective tool in getting interviews from naiive talents, but anyone who'se does a little research into the matter will quickly assume that it's a scam, which even I right now believe that very much could be.
And if you're going to say things like "we represent 40 of the biggest acting talents in the world", then both the names of the actors represented, and the name of the agency wouldn't be a secret now would it? You'd be a billionaire, and half of the world's shares would be in your name. You'd probably have several books out, seminars, guilds, whatever.
But please, if I am wrong, and every other sinic on this forum, then it would be more than a pleasure to be proven so. Bring on the facts my good director/agent, and maybe you'll make believers out of us.

haha, nice post Adam.
You know what they say, great Adam's think alike...
And I too would love to hear just a sample of names from the top 40 actors that you represent. If Depp's up there give us his email would ya? You never know when he's in town, we cold meet up for a quick pint and discuss lead roles.

Hey, give the guy a break!
He's surely so busy with his 40 megastars, (And surely Arnold's campaigns) that he desn't have time to look at the names of the forums where he posts!
And, anyway, all animators have a hidden actor within... Or where do you think those faces you make in the mirror when you're drawing come from?
So, I don't know about you guys, but if he can team me up with De Niro, I'm quitting animation.
RRRaging Bull?
I did some checking and I would not find this person listed anywhere. I also found the same post on another forum. That forum is about talent acting, dancing, so on.
FRAWD!
frawd, frawd, frawd, frawd, frawd, frawd.....FRAWD!
is there any reason why posts like these just aren't deleted outright?

When was the last time anyone saw the word "thrice" used, let alone in an animation forum. I'm impressed... :D
I like thrice, nice word, and very civilized.

well this person seems pretty legit to me and some of my friends... here's a site for you guys to check out: www.heymantalent.com that's supposed to be Anne's site and I'm speaking to Anne through e-mail... x.x I dunno but she seems pretty honest... if it's a scam than I think I've been had... she says she has four kids and they are her clients as well... if you guys want to see the e-mail convo we had I'd be glad to post it.

PS. I ADORE THE WORD THRICE! and someone tell me why I'm here. XD I'm an actress/writer... what am I doing on an Animation forum? oh... and FYI... she said "highest paid" not "most famous." XD
Yeah, but those kinda go hand-in-hand in the entertainment biz...
I suppose... I just thought I'd point that out... v_______v
It would be helpful if there was an easy way to check into the credits of whomever makes offers, like Hayman's offer.
One way (and it isn't guaranteed if they're just picking a name out of the hat) is to check www.imdb.com for someone's entertainment credits.
If she's really as big as she says she is she's probably listed in a movie credit someplace. Casting directors get credits in movies.
Producing solidily ok animation since 2001.

hmph... what do you know... she is a frawd... I've been had... v____v lucky me... I didn't send out any money or anything... I didn't give her my phone number... all she has is my e-mail and some of my info and a couple of pics which she can't really do anything with anyway. lol...
If you're a girl and hot, send me some pics, too.
You know what's tragic? I appreciate that this thread was left alive for its comedic value, but it's tragic that there's so many other treads with real issues going unaddressed.
I'm a girl but in my opinion, I'm NOT hot. v____v
and I totally agree with you. it's tragic... sad... y'know...
TinkerJet, what I find sad about this thread is that a fifteen year old girl is approaching strangers, sending materials and possibly entering into a contract with a total stranger, without the advice or supervision of their parent. You should be more careful.
Pat Hacker, Visit Scooter's World.
I agree with you... that's why I stopped just short of giving out any REAL information... about where I'm located, my number and so forth... I'm lucky I did stop... and I will no longer talk to this frawd... and now I learned from this experience. I will be more careful. =) I didn't lose any money and no one was hurt... so it's all good.
He should try posting in a less intellectual forum like www.blondbimbo.com
Anne--dahling.
I'm a shoo-in for a Ron Jeremy double--right down to the finger nails.
Okay, maybe that Pitt fellow..........or the Cruise boy--never can remember his first name--what's he done recently, is he still with Mimi?? In any case, I've got a ton of scripts on my desk, Jimmy Cameron's talking about locking me into something involving machine guns and hamsters again. Dreadful taskmaster, but the six months of brusies are so worth it.
I need something fresher, BOLDER....more ME.
Call me dahling, we'll do seviche.
Ciao.
