Hello everyone!!! I has been awhile since I last posted here... I've been extremely busy trying to prepare my showreel so that I can taken something half decent to siggraph.... oh, the sleepless nights!
Hope that you'll like my new little character, her name is Nani (it means "what?" in Japanese, don't aske me why, I just like the name!) and she's a bear-aholic.
I'll post some of my concept drawings later on.
Meanwhile, please feel free to drop a line!

It is good to see you posting again, I like your character. It looks to me like she is going to be a very playful character.
Thank you, Wontobe! Sweet as always...
right now, Nani is being used on my showreel as a nicer way to present my name, nothing more boring that a black or white background title, am I right or not? "So you're mean to be a character animator? why are your showreel titles so boring!!!!"
Anyway, Nani is behaving so well that I'm going to make a little film with her when I come back from boston. I'll post my new showreel soon and hopefully in august or september I'll start a "production diary" in my blog.

The idea reminds me a bit of a character from the Nintendo game Chibi Robo.
Little girl who is, obviously, obsessed with frogs.
well, there aren't any original ideas anymore, just new(ish) interpretations! ;) Funely enough, I have never heard of that particular game...

lol, i named a character 'what' before but in spanish. So he was called 'Donde'
Made this back in 2001. Yours is much more appealing.
: )
That is sooooo eerie, kevan!! (down to the bear ears and the printed bear!!!)
it seems that Jung was right, we do share a global conscience.
