Hey Jes, welcome to AWN. You have a good start there. One thing you might want to consider is adding a navigation bar acrossed the top so that after someone views your animation they don't have to hit the back button. You know one of those things that list a basic menu, that remains the same acrossed all the pages.
Another thing, be very careful when coloring your characters using gradients. Most of the time they really don't come off that well, and with a little extra work you can add your own shading, that focuses better on light source.
How long have you been using Flash?

Thanks, Pat
Well, I have been using Flash two years ago, but until last year I learned better. I will take note about shading. I visited your site and saw your drawings, they are very professional. I would like to know how do you draw and paint them? Do you draw and paint them first in freehand, and them you import them to flash? I ask you this, because it was difficult for me, doing everything in flash. I also bought a wacom tablet, but I feel I am not using it well. Thanks,
I do it all in Flash, and use an optical corded mouse. But that's just me. I like Flash. I know CorelDraw and Illustrator, but I can work so much faster in Flash, I even use it for print graphics. I tried Macromedia's Freehand and Fireworks, never really saw the need for them. Still use Illustrator and CorelDraw to prepare my stuff for the printer, but that's about all I use them for. Photoshop is ok for website work but even then I prefer Corel's PhotoPaint, and then take my stuff in and make it compatible for the PS people.
I tried a tablet. just couldn't get used to it. But like I say, that's just me.
And if you look around Scooter's World long enough you'll see my old work. Her world is a work in progress and I've left my old stuff up there. And I went the gradient way early on, it's easy and seems to look good at first, but it doesn't hold up. I am about ready to do another site revamp, but it's a big undertaking, and not sure I want to take it on at this point.
