Another random, three-eyed dinosaur stomping around, looking for grub and somehow wandering onto my watercolor pad. *Good thing I had my shotgun close at at hand...
Meet Spot, the guard critter. Ferocious, no? Actually, he's just a run-of-the-mill dino-monster who woke up one morning to discover someone had replaced his plant-eating bicuspids with huge canines. His vegetarian friends are appalled...

Awww, lookit the cute little demons, running amok with dangerous weapons, intent on killing everyone they meet... aren't they just adorable???? Don'tcha just wanna pick one up and give it a big squeeeeeeeeeze??? Yeah, me, too...
Ahhh, I should've known. These little green dudes are bound and determined to get themselves exterminated in a violent and grisly fashion. Darwin at work, I guess...
love your character designs! I'd love to see these in motion! Do you have any tests or walk cycles? great use of line weight and color!
Thanks for the compliments. Currently there are no plans for animating the little green men. I have some hand-drawn and computer-generated films in the works, but none of the designs for those are available for public viewing... yet...
Meet Jawless Joe. He's searching for his lower jaw, but hasn't had any luck finding it yet. He's hoping it turns up soon -- he's getting tired of all the weird looks the guys at the butcher shop give him when he orders steak smoothies for lunch. Yecch!!

Oooh, what a hunk. What lady can resist a turd-colored, eight-handed freaky red-head like this guy? It's gotta be the hairy chest, no? No? C'mon, ladies, you know you love 'im...

Another lost inhabitant of Three-eyed Larry's homeworld. Part snake & part caterpillar, these critters can normally be found hanging around laundry piles of dirty argyle socks. Nursing homes and retirement communities across the galaxy have to spray for them constantly...

He's either looking for lost treasure, or he dropped his car keys and can't find them in the dirt. Knowing how bright these twerps are, I'm going with the second option...

Ever sit down to draw and have one of those "Eureka!" moments? Well... this wasn't it. I was about to, but then this jerk came along and started gnawing on my tennis shoes, and I was forced to taser him. Is it too late to take up another hobby?
Nothing wrong with getting a little stewed after a hard day of monstering it up. All those kids to eat, old ladies to scare... it takes a lot out of a guy!
Whoa, what a scary-looking character! Fortunately, it's only one inch long and is more interested in tomato gardens than human flesh. Time for another can of Slug-B-Gone...
Having forcibly evicted the frog and insect squatters from their mushroom home, our little green tough guys are claiming a big win for the home team. Break out the champagne...

Normally these little weirdos are pinging off the walls, but here they're being completely... well, boring! What, someone spike their kool-aid with Adderall??? Might be time for the cattle prod again...

Okay, here's our Subasaurus Rex, in living color. For this, I inked the original sketch on vellum tracing paper, scanned it, cleaned it up in Painter, then printed it on card stock, where it got the color treatment (Prismacolor markers), then re-scanned, color corrected (just an eensy bit of contrast change), and finally posted for your amusement. Whew! That's an awful lot of work for a stupid dinosaur that only eats sandwiches. Sheesh...
I don't know why the one on the left is dancing, but I'm pretty sure the one on the right mouthed off to the wrong guy. Serves the eight-armed weirdo right...
The planet Three-eyed Larry comes from experienced the same evolutionary tug-of-war that shaped life on our rock. The end result is the same -- a world filled with carbon-based nincompoops. We are not alone, apparently...
Anyway, this is a conceptual drawing based on real-life skeletal remains found on that nameless world. Scientists were initally puzzled by the presence of functional fins and fully-formed terrestrial feet, but then the pizza guy showed up and they lost all interest...
