Arena's Creative Minds event is being organized for the past 8 years in various regions across the country to enrich the creative potential among arena students. To promote original contents in India, Arena has decided to offer this platform to studios and individuals that are into IP creation and/or Short film making to exhibit their work to industry veteran and media.
CREATIVE MINDS 2011 - WEST zone is scheduled on 15th Dec 2011. Please find below the time and venue details below.

Structure of the competition
Categories
Best Animated Original IP for Film/ TV series (any medium)
Best Animated Short Film (any medium)
Details of the Categories
1. Best Animated Original IP for Film/ TV series (2D/ 3D/ Stop Motion):
- A pilot of the Film, or TV Series will be accepted
- The content should be original
- The person/ studio that is submitting the entry must have all the rights on the content
- There is no restriction for tool/s or software/s to be used to create the content
- File Formats : DVD/ Quick time
- Length of the pilot should not exceed 7 minutes.
2. Best Animated Short Film (2D/ 3D/ Stop Motion) : A short animation film with a duration of 2- 5 minutes
- The Short film should be based on a Short Story or Social Message
- The content should be original
- The person/ studio that is submitting the entry must have all the rights on the content
- There is no restriction for tool/s or software/s to be used to create the content
- File Formats : DVD/ Quick time
- The short film must have a duration between 2- 5 minutes
Guidelines
The work has to be in a single CD/DVD for all single entry
For all the above categories entry fee is waived.
The final work (CD/DVD) along with the entry form should be submitted to the following address on or before 30th November 2011 through courier.

Evaluation procedure
We will do a primary selection and select the best of the work to get displayed in the competition day for final evaluation by the Jury members from the industry which will comprise of Industry veterans from different field.
We will declare the final participants name on the day of the evaluation.
Winners will be honored with Certificate of acknowledgement.
Rules & Regulations
The participant must be a professional / group of professionals or studios and should not be a student from any institute.
Sameindividual/ group and studios can participate in both the categories.
Creative Minds panel reserve the right to accept/ decline the entry for the awards if the information provided by the participant is proven to be false.
The duration for the Best Short films category the length should be between 2 min - 5 minutes length.
For the Best Original IP category the time limit of the entry shouldn't cross 7 minutes.
Judges decisions are final and they hold no explanation for the same to whomsoever under any circumstances.
Film must be submitted in a DVD/ Quick time format only
Any CD/ DVD once submitted shall not be returned
The film along with the filled form must reach us by 30th Nov, 2011
Reference used from other sources has to be mentioned or given credit.
