Tuesday, October 10, 2006 - Women In Film/Chicago Focus Achievement Awards. Actress/director Bonnie Hunt and television producer Thea Flaum are this year's recipients. Amy Jacobson of NBC5/WMAQ will be emcee for the luncheon gala. The Women In Film/Chicago Focus Award honors women who have contributed significantly to the film, television, advertising and corporate productions industries, and who have a tie to Chicago and the Midwest. This year's luncheon gala award event is Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Ritz/Carlton Chicago, 160 East Pearson Street in Chicago.Reception begins at 11:15 a.m. with the event running from Noon to 1:45 p.m. Coincides with the 42nd Chicago International Film Festival running October 5-19, 2006.
