I'm doing some animation and am interested in the 'autofill' tools that will automatically paint a piece of line art based on the previous frame or a reference image.
Which software has the best autofill tool and does autofill actually work effectively on "complex" characters (like say, a Naruto-ish level of complexity in contrast to a Homer Simpson level of complexity)?
Ideally, I'd want an autofill software that can paint each color onto a different layer and save in a format that can be used in Photoshop. Yeah... I don't even really want animation software... best scenario I want a Photoshop plugin to have autofill.

Hi ecchicchu,
I know you can find an AutoPickColor option when using the filling tool in TVP Animation.
Basically, it allows you to pick the color on the previous frame by enabling onionskining with the previous frame and to apply it to a lineart in one single click per color.
Furthermore, i think the software is able to export your sequence in .psd files ;)
Thanks for the info. I'll check it out.
