This fall, Fox has attracted an all-star lineup of guest voices on returning animated series American Dad, beginning Sunday, Sept. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), with two back-to back episodes; The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and a special one-hour broadcast of Family Guy (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), premiering Sunday, Sept. 28; and Bob’s Burgers, debuting Sunday, Oct. 5 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT).
BOB’S BURGERS (Sundays, 7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT)
Recently nominated for its third Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Animated Program, the cult-favorite animated series returns for a fifth season Sunday, Oct. 5 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT), serving up some delightfully charming Belcher shenanigans with a side of Grade-A prime beef guest voices. In the upcoming season, Bob enters a “Best Burger” contest competing against the legendary Skip Marooch (guest voice Kumail Nanjiani, Silicon Valley); Tina romances a ghost, but finds a rival in Tammy (returning guest voice Jenny Slate, House of Lies); Louise infiltrates the Thundergirls youth club and encounters a rival troop leader (guest voice Rachel Dratch, Saturday Night Live); and the family battles a hoard of ferocious poultry unleashed upon the town by Mr. Fischoeder (guest voice Kevin Kline, Dave) and his irresponsible brother, Felix (Zach Galifianakis The Hangover). Other featured guest voices include Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation), Carl Reiner (Ocean’s 12), Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Joe Lo Truglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Jordan Peele (Key and Peele) and Keegan Michael Key (Key and Peele).
THE SIMPSONS (Sundays, 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT)
The Simpsons adventures continue this fall, beginning Sunday, Sept. 28, with a stellar array of guest voices, including Jane Fonda (The Newsroom), who is featured as Mr. Burns’ girlfriend, Democratic Assemblywoman Maxine Lombard; Willem Dafoe (The Grand Budapest Hotel) as Bart’s new bully-of-a-teacher, Mr. Lassen; and Futurama’s Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom and Tress MacNeille in a crossover episode between the two animated series. Additional 26th season guest voices include Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Sarah Silverman (A Million Ways to Die in the West), David Hyde Pierce (Frazier), comedian Jeffrey Ross and musician Matthew Sweet. Plus, Judd Apatow (Girls, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) pens a special episode scheduled to air later in the season.
FAMILY GUY (Sundays, 9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT)
In this season’s special one-hour premiere of Family Guy, “The Simpsons Guy,” airing Sunday, Sept. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), two of the most iconic and revered families on television will come together when the Griffins meet The Simpsons, with guest voices by Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson, Hank Azaria as Moe, Yeardley Smith as Lisa and Maggie and Julie Kavner as Marge. The rest of the star-studded season will include guest voices by Liam Neeson (Taken 2), Julie Bowen (Modern Family) and Allison Janney (Mom).
AMERICAN DAD (Sundays, 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT)
American Dad wraps up its run on FOX with three all-new episodes this fall. First, in the special one-hour season premiere (Sunday, Sept. 14, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Roger is forced to sell his beloved attic bar to a restaurant chain after suffering a heart attack, and a sexy new next-door neighbor (guest voice Jane Krakowski, 30 Rock) promises to take Steve and his friends’ virginity in return for housework. John Lutz (30 Rock) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie) also guest-voice. In the final FOX episode (Sunday, Sept. 21, 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), Roger and Francine discover an alien in the woods (guest voice Kim Kardashian), and Roger has a fling with her. Swoosie Kurtz (Sisters), Corey Stoll (The Strain) and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) also guest-voice.
