Former Digital Domain VP to oversee and represent MPC’s VFX Supervisor talent, including Richard Stammers, Erik Nash and Guillaume Rocheron; Julian Levi promoted to General Manager.
LOS ANGELES -- Building on its recent LA expansion and a move from Santa Monica to a new 25,000-square-foot facility in Culver City, MPC Film has announced that renowned VFX industry figure Joanna Capitano has joined the team. Working closely with newly-promoted General Manager Julian Levi at the new Culver City facility, Capitano will oversee and represent the studio’s VFX Supervisor talent in the industry.
MPC’s roster of world-renowned VFX Supervisors includes Richard Stammers (The Martian, X-Men Days of Future Past), Erik Nash (Avengers Assemble, Titanic) and Guillaume Rocheron (Man of Steel, Life of Pi).
Capitano joins MPC from Digital Domain where she was Vice President of Features and involved in a number of high-profile projects including The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Iron Man 3 and Thor.
MPC Film is currently in production on xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, director Ridley Scott’s Alien Covenant, Stephen King's The Dark Tower and director Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
