Press Release from MAXON Computer
MAXON Computer, a leading developer of professional 3D modeling, painting, animation, and rendering solutions, today announced that videos on its channel on the popular online video site YouTube have now been viewed more than 1,000,000 times. Hosting a wide variety of content, the 'MaxonC4D' channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/MaxonC4D) includes quick tips, tutorials, mind-blowing visual effects, and inspiring short movies relating to MAXON's award-winning CINEMA 4D software.
"YouTube gives us a great way to share CINEMA 4D tips, tutorials and amazing work from all over the world with our customers," said Liam Stacy, Managing Director at MAXON UK. "The content is really diverse because CINEMA 4D is used in many different fields thanks to its ease of use, and it's fascinating to see this all come together on the 'MaxonC4D' YouTube channel."
Currently home to 135 uploaded videos, the 'MaxonC4D' YouTube channel is as varied as its users. Tips and tutorials range from how to integrate a 3D model of an airplane with a photograph of a runway, to getting a computer-generated dragon to flap its wings.
Animations stretch from 'Invasions,' an enchanting short film that follows the journey of a visitor from another world, to an advert for aerated concrete, where a worktop, fireplace and shower cubicle assemble from thin air as a family goes about its daily routine using the new structures as they appear.
Another highlight of the 'MaxonC4D' channel is the Favorites section. Directly linking to over 100 videos from other YouTube channels, animations in this section extend from cartoon birds testing the knee-jerk reflex, to footage of a massive wall at a festival in Sydney lit up by a HD animation created in CINEMA 4D and inspired by a pyramid.
The YouTube channel is not alone in the quest to share information about all things MAXON in new and exciting ways. MAXON's popular twitter service (http://twitter.com/maxon3d) is 500 tweets old with over 2,600 followers and counting, while MAXON's handy "quick tip" video podcasts (http://maxonpodcast.de/podcasts/podcast.xml) have been downloaded over 200,000 times.
