The MPSC Local 839 IATSE, the labor union for screen cartoonists and CGI artists and technicians in southern California, has created an all new Website hosted by Animation World Network. The Website features current and past issues of "The Peg-Board," Local 839's monthly newsletter, available in HTML and Adobe Acrobat PDF formats. It also includes an info section answering the most frequently asked questions about Local 839, current and past animation union contracts for Local 839 and other unions, wage minimums and wage surveys, contact information for union shops and helpful links to information about benefits, other union web sites and other sites of interest to the animation community. The members-only section contains information of specific interest to Local 839 members. This section is available only to Local 839 members who subscribe to the free MPSC 839 e-mail list.
