Studio 100 Media GmbH signs a licensing agreement with Planeta Junior for the new animation series Tashi.
Munich, Germany -- Studio 100 Media GmbH announced that it has signed a license agreement with leading European children’s media production and distribution company Planeta Junior for the brand new animation series Tashi(52 x 12’).
The deal finalized at MIPCOM 2013 gives Planeta Junior exclusive TV, home entertainment, on demand, merchandising and licensing rights (excluding games, theme parks, music and stage shows) for the series and covers exploitation rights for the territories of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus.
Currently in production, with delivery scheduled for Autumn 2014, Tashi, is a CGI animation with 2-D elements produced byFlying Bark Productions in association with Discreet Art Productions India and Telegael Teoranta.
Targeted at six to eleven year olds Tashi is a mystical, mythical and enigmatic action packed series poised to captivate audiences worldwide. The series is based on the beloved Australian children’s books by Barbara and Anna Fienberg, which have sold over a million copies in more than 20 countries worldwide.
