Do you want a chance to work alongside the world’s top animators? Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is home to an exclusive internship program that provides excellent opportunities for stoodents to gain firsthand experience in the animation industry, featuring a fun and diverse curriculum that is fully hands-on and truly unique.
Stoopid Buddy Stoodio is always searching for new talent, and they’d like to share real-world experience with folks looking to break into the biz.
Program Overview
The 10-week program at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios allows each accepted intern to focus on one area of interest. If chosen for the program, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios will help you decide which department is best suited to your current talents.
At the end of their term, Stoopid Interns will have the opportunity to do a practice pitch in front of Stoopid Buddy staff to observe and provide feedback.
All-around, it’s a great opportunity to learn, create, meet buddies, and have fun!
Departments
Stoopid Buddy Stoodios has offered internships available in the following departments:
- Stop-Motion Animation
- Production
- Art Department (Set Shop)
- Visual Effects
- Editorial (Post-Production)
- Camera/Lighting
- Writing
- Information Technology (IT)
*Please note that department Internship offerings are subject to change each semester.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education as a junior or senior
- Be using their internship with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios for class credit toward the fulfillment of their degree
- Be available for a minimum of 10 weeks (max 12)
Please note that the Stoopid Buddy Stoodios internships are designed to provide practical, hands-on experience to supplement an existing academic program and, as such, are unpaid and do not include housing.
