Union VFX Opens New Soho Office

UK-based Union Visual Effects relocates to a larger facility in London’s Soho district; new studio also houses an advanced review theatre, featuring a 4K projector.

In a move that significantly increases the studio’s capacity to take on a broader scope of work, UK-based Union Visual Effects announced that the company has relocated to a larger facility in London’s Soho district.

“We’re proud to say that we’ve continued to grow our client base, and we are expanding all of our resources ready for the exciting projects lined up for the coming year,” said Tim Caplan, Visual Effects Producer and co-founder of Union. “Crucially, this larger facility allows us the flexibility to scale up when necessary.”

Located on Noel Street at the center of London’s postproduction community, the property was chosen for its convenient location for Union’s filmmaker clients. The new studio also houses an advanced review theatre, featuring a 4K projector.

“Union’s clients have always enjoyed the atmosphere in our studio, and our new location provides an even more welcoming environment and much improved facilities - while importantly, remaining in the heart of Soho,” said Adam Gascoyne, Visual Effects Supervisor and company co-founder. “We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our collaborators to enjoy our new space.”

Founded in 2008 by Visual Effects Supervisor Adam Gascoyne and Visual Effects Executive Producer Tim Caplan, Union’s film credits include 127 HoursHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2The Woman in Black, Hyde Park on Hudson and Trance.
