Warner Bros. has bought the rights to Brad Thor's Scot Harvath thriller series, reports Variety. The stories follow a former Navy SEAL turned field agent who works on counterterrorism missions. THE LIONS OF LUCERNE will be adapted first as an origin story. LIONS follows the battle against terrorists who murder 30 agents and kidnap the president, demanding $500 million and the killing of a new green bill in Congress. Bill Gerber and Casey Wasserman are producing. Jon Berg is shepherding for the studio.
