DDB Sydney have been busy working with Interbrand to freshen up the identity of Australia’s biggest telco and advertiser, Telstra.
DDB shared the look with XYZ director Tim Kentley and senior art director Auver Austria to ask how we could extend the brand’s new coloured spectrum into the moving image for a 45 second launch TVC.
Adhering to the minimalist palette yet needing to tell a compelling story was no easy brief. XYZ worked with the graphic look extending abstract and figurative shapes from the coloured shards to create an engaging and unique world for Telstra.
