The VES Award nominee will showcase the creative processes behind Walt Disney Animation’s 62nd animated feature, coming to theaters this November; the conference takes place October 15-20 in Turin, Italy.
After pushing its original November 25, 2020 release date because of the COVID-19 pandemic as it quickly pivoted hundreds of artists to produce the bulk of the film from home, the studio delivers a beautiful and emotionally fulfilling epic adventure; the film releases simultaneously in theatres and on Disney+ this Friday, March 5.
Speakers at Animation Dingle’s fifth edition include ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ director Dean DeBlois, Cartoon Saloon’s Nora Twomey, former Nickelodeon exec Russel Hicks, Brown Bag Films’ Bronagh O’Hanlon and Darragh O'Connell, Lupus Films’ Camilla Deakin, Amazon Studios’ Tara Sorensen, and more.
Special guests to include Disney directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, producer Roy Conli, visual effects supervisor Kyle Odermatt, head of animation Zach Parrish, and director of cinematography lighting Adolph Lusinsky.
